And for the record, I don’t have a degree in any of those, i’m four years into a psychology and neuroscience degree and I just take political science courses as much as possible because i’m interested in it. And he doesn’t support socialism, that’s like people saying Obama’s a socialist. All he supports is a SLIGHT redistribution (which is socialist but not pure socialism) of wealth so there isn’t such an enormous gap between the poor and the rich and such a small middle class (a system like western Europe where the standard of living is a lot higher than it is here). But my mistake for sounding like a pretentious faggot, I didn’t mean for it to come off like that.
my bad Chicago i probably sounded like the jackass here. you are right every one is entitled to their opinions. personally i think that a lot of the conspiracy type topics and overall political lean of IT is much much more leftist than Obama. i voted for Obama and i am not one of the people who claim he is a socialist as i certainly don’t think he is. im in my last year of an economics major and i find that most of what IT says involves large simplifications of more complex ideas and that he tends to reduce these to far left talking points that honestly sound like something i would expect to hear from hugo chaves. i (my opnion) would classify ITs political leanings as belonging to the radical left. just my opinion, if people like IT they should listen to him and if i don’t then i shouldnt and im pretty sure thats how it works. good luck w/ the psychology and neuroscience studies.
Yeah his views are really right wing, I don’t necessarily agree with all of his views but what I do agree with 100% is that this country is going down hill slowly and some kind of social, political, and economic change has to be made to fix it. My personal opinion is that we should tax corporations equally to how we tax regular people and we should put a slight increase on taxes of people who make something like 500, 000 or more per year. Also, whether or not we agree with IT’s views I still think he deserves respect because he’s trying to make the world a better place. When Haiti was hit by the earthquake he went there to help with the relief efforts which is a lot more than most of us including myself did to help. I don’t know man, it just annoys me when people are ignorant to the good he’s trying to do regardless of whether his political beliefs are realistic.
