Buns, Beer & Backpacks: A (2)Dope BBQ

So with a few days before the West Coast debut of the annual (2)Dope BBQ, I figure it’s time to let more cats out of the bag. If you’ve followed the past couple weeks, you’d know that the event will be Saturday, July 23rd in Los Angeles, and that it will benefit the charity organization Edeyo. Patrons will be asked to provide either a new or gently used backpack, clothing, new, unopened school supplies totaling $10, or a $10 cash donation. All donated items will be used to provide school supplies to children which, as you can see, will put them all into good use.

In other words, the only way you’re getting in is if you donate something. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

But those who do come to the party and donate will be treated in kind to free food and drinks, live music, a chance to win free gifts from the good folks at FLuD Watches, Rocksmith, Orisue, IMKING and more. What else do you need to know? To RSVP for the event and obtain the address, email 2dopebbq@gmail.com. Before the end of this week those who RSVP will receive the address. Hope to see you all there.

  1. Seriously, BLUE RIBBON & COLT 45???!!! Do you think we’re homeless??!! What type of crowd do you expect to generate with that?? Any female holding a cup of Colt 45 or Blue Ribbon can’t look attractive…This is Los Angeles, Hollywood is next door…you can’t really expect a positive outcome giving away “Bum Brew”….

  2. ^^ it’s a charity event sir. the last thing were seriously worried about is what liquor someone is holding in a cup. it’s not about that. last we did the same and no one complained. try and think beyond.
