Last year’s first annual (2)Dope BBQ was, in our eyes, a success. Alongside having a largely peaceful event where no major problems were had, the great thing was that we raised thousands of dollars and hundreds of school supplies for schoolchildren of Haiti (hit the jump for visual evidence). The only issue, however, was that many folks felt that – seeing as the site has its roots there – there should have been a West Coast one.
Say no more. Plans for the BBQ’s second edition have been underway for a while now, and I’m happy to announce that – Lord Willin’ – the (2)Dope BBQ will go down in both Los Angeles and New York later this summer. While last year’s BBQ was largely a clandestine, word-of-mouth-style operation, this year will be for the public, by the public. What does that mean exactly? Instead of hiding the information like before, every bit of information – from the time to the location – will be known to the general public. To start:
JULY 23RD WILL BE THE DATE FOR THE LOS ANGELES EDITION OF THE (2)DOPE BBQ.
More details to come as the date grows nearer. Hope to see you all there.

We couldn’t have done any of this without you all.
