The New Royales describe Freedom’s for the Brave as “bringing together songs from all the diverse genres we grew up on and having a bit of fun putting them into our own style.” The 11-track mixtape features “Today,” the band’s rework of Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 folk rock classic as well as “Drugs in My Pocket,” a remake of English punk rock band The Monks’ 80’s single.
