DJ Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie are prepping the release of their upcoming Summertime Vol. 3 mixtape (out June 11) with a remake of Will Smith The Fresh Prince’s 1991 classic, “Summertime” and TMZ has obtained a preview of the remake which features an all-new verse from the Fresh Prince himself.

I guarantee that the visitors of this site have rapped this song more than once in their lives. Hell, I’ve spun the theme song at parties every now and then, and everybody from the hard rocks who only nod their head to Gang Starr and ATCQ to the chicks dancing and twerking to “Becky” to the bohemians two-stepping to Stevie Wonder will all rap along to it. Willl Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their partners at Overbrook Entertainment have formed a joint-venture with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures. First up? A remake of the Broadway musical “Annie,” in which Will and Jada’s daughter, Willow — who recently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label — will star in.
