Back in November Sama’an Ashrawi produced this dope short docu-film on UGK which featured the likes of 9th Wonder to Black Star to Big Boi and more. In the film Rocky divulged his thoughts on the crew, but Sama’an has now let loose his entire interview.

With Bun B and Pimp C’s debut album Too Hard To Swallow turning 20 years old this year, Sama’an Ashraw pays homage with a 25 minute documentary on the duo’s influence over the past two decades. A must watch for all UGK fans..

According to producer Caviar, Tip has a never before heard verse from the late Pimp C that will be included on his upcoming album, Trouble Man.

I have a song on T.I.’s new album featuring Pimp C, which is one of his last verses that he did before he passed away. So Tip was sitting on it, but he got caught up and went to jail. But he told me ‘Yo Cavie, keep that sh*t on ice and we rolling with it. Like when I get out it’s gonna be on the album.’

Hopefully Bun gets involved and we get another Front Back.

Pimp C laid his vocals to this record in October of 2007, two months before he passed away. It was intended to be the remix to my record Aint Nobody Trippin‘, which had a huge buzz in Houston, but with the untimely death of Pimp we were never able to put the song out through his UGK Records imprint like we intended. So with that being said, it’s 4 years later and the beat has been revamped into sum 2012 Space Age Pimpin’ that is already in heavy rotation in the Strip Clubs of Atlanta & Houston.
