During a sitdown with The Breakfast Club, Treach and DJ Kay Gee discuss details about their beef with Vin Rock, how Vinnie sucker punched Treach during a meeting and the new diss track “Tall Midget“.
In similar fashion as Mobb Deep, Naughty By Nature’s “break-up” was first acknowledged when Treach hit Twitter with some harshwords about his partner Vin Rock. And while I had hoped it was just some “misunderstanding” type thing, Treach follows it up with an actual diss track. Sigh… hopefully this ends the same was as Mobb Deep and these two settle their differences and get back at it.
In this interview with Montreality, Treach (of Naughty By Nature) freestyles & speaks about his working experiences with Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Eazy-E & Big Pun, being praised by Eminem & wanting to make a classic collaboration with him, his upcoming movies, messages to the youth & more.
“We spoke many a time, and he was like, ‘I don’t see myself growing old.’ Pac couldn’t sit down for five minutes. He was always going, ‘Yeah, everything good, good, good.’ When you listen to him and you see his demeanor, he was more or less, like, on watch. He had a deadline. He was working at a pace, like, ‘Where you going? You going on vacation? You going to jail? You doing sh– like you tryna finish everything right now and cover stuff.’ You couldn’t find him half the time; he was gone. He had a plan.” – Treach
Treach also says that Biggie and Pac would have reconciled. Hit the jump for the story.
Naughty by Nature are the next guests on RockMeTV. In part 1 above, they speak about being The New Style before taking the name Naughty By Nature; and their strategy of success. Part 2 (after the jump) has Treach & Vin Rock talking about touring back in the day and what their life on the road is like now. They also speak on the history of O.P.P. and their relationship with Tupac. Part 3 (also after the jump) the roundtable talks with Treach about his [II] worthy scene in Love and a Bullet; and the difference between groupie love back in the day and how it’s like now.
Vinnie called up the homie JMack for a quick interview, where he talked about Juelz Santana pulling a Lupe during their tribute at Hip-Hop Honors (I’m surprised at how nobody blew it out their asses the way they did Fiascogate… but then again it was a Dip Set member), being a hype man and the whole deal with Naughty’s happy ass music.
