To be honest, I’m not sure if this is new or not. Don’t know what it was off of or what it will be on. I just know the joint is smooth. And this just gives me another chance to complain about not having the mixtape from Nappy Boy’s latest signee! Shouts to Charles.

Travis McCoy is the latest signee to T-Pain’s Nappy Boy Entertainment. I’m not mad at it. I admit, I fuck with T-Pain for the most part. Anything to get more Travie material out there. Where the fluuuck is the mixtape!? Shouts to Kyle Lucas for the heads up.

This isn’t hip hop and I don’t give a shit what you say. Saw them live earlier this year with Gym Class and they put on a pretty sweet show. Off their album, Viva La Cobra, which is in stores now.
DJ Skee sits down with Gym Class Heroes’ front man and Estelle to talk about their musical influences, how they linked up for the tour they are on, The Quilt (in stores now) and more.

Damn, it’s been a long time since I dropped one of these bad boys huh? Let’s jump right into it as there are a ton of joints to check. New music from Kardinal Offishall, Re-Up Gang, The Outlawz, Lil Wayne, Ali Vegas, Cory Gunz, Cassidy, etc. JoJo Pellegrino is out of control, Copywrite is patiently waiting, Maino wants that hood love, Novel gets lost with Coldplay, Big Lou feels stereotyped, Jay Rock speaks on his life, Raekwon & Kaze speak real shit, Dirtbag takes aim at Rick Ross & Plies, Large Pro gets hardcore with Marco Polo [II], Tim Williams & Travis McCoy speak on the girl by the bar and much more…

And you thought I forgot about all the GCH fans out there? Here goes another joint off Travie’s upcoming mixtape! Happy born-day Trav!

I was just about to head out for some pizza when waxx hit me with a link to this video. During a set at the Warper Tour, Gym Class Heroes front man was wild out on a fan for calling him an fucking ignorant nigger. Travis perceeded to mollywhop dude over the head with his mic. Being arrested for third-degree assault and later released on $500 bail. Hit MTV for the full scoop.
Speaking of Gym Class, this gives me a chance to talk about the show. I saw Gym Class Heroes, Academy Is… and Cobra Starship last week. All three acts were pretty dope. Gym Class in particular. I have NO clue what one of the comment people were talking about when they said they sucked live. Complete opposite. From doing all their previous material to a cover of Prince’s When Doves Cry to performing some new joints, including this crazy infectious cut (Peace Sign) which will feature Busta Rhymes on the upcoming album, The Quilt. I can’t wait til they get on tour with The Roots. That is gonna be amazing. Put your peace signs up, put your index down! And yes, rare and unreleased Gym Class Heroes is still on the way haha…
