While Dr. Dre was on one side of town supporting the future of West Coast rap, his former/current protege was on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show with Swizz, joining Travis for a performance of his Give the Drummer Some single. Give the Drummer Some, dropping March 15th.
Before Travis Barker drops Give the Drummer Some on March 15th, he’s linking up with DJ Whoo Kid to release the mixtape Let The Drummer Get Wicked. Whoo Kid himself released this small preview of one of the tracks slated to be on that project.
Travis’ anticipated debut project, Give The Drummer Some, has been given a due date of March 15th. The project’s next single will be “Can A Drummer Get Some,” featuring Game, Swizz Beatz, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. Other confirmed tracks include “Devil’s Got A Hold of Me” guest-starring Slaughterhouse, “Misfits,” featuring Steve Aoki, “Cool Head,” featuring KiD CuDi, “Don’t Fuck With Me,” featuring Paul Wall, Kurupt, and J Roc, “City of Dreams,” featuring Clipse and Kobe, and “On My Own,” featuring Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. Sounds like and interesting ride.
