Off Sean Kingston’s upcoming LP, Back 2 Life, out later this year.
Premiering tomorrow on VEVO.
Tre and Tip join Bobby Ray during his show at Emory University in Atlanta. After the jump Hayley Williams (of Paramore) hit the stage in Nashville for their first “official” live performance together.
Before he was sentenced to 11 more months in the clink, T.I. sat down with the homie DJ Skee to talk about his upcoming (?) album, signing B.o.B, his motivation, the Atlanta Hawks and more.
Interesting timing, wouldn’t you say?
Despite his recent act of heroism, Clifford was sentenced to 11 (more) months in prison for violating his probation (possessing ecstasy x testing positive for opiates x associating with a convicted felon). An appeal is in the works, but I don’t see Tip getting out of this one. Especially with the details below.
“I screwed up,” said the rapper, wearing a three-piece gray suit. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”
But U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr. was unmoved. Pannell noted that he had tried an extraordinary sentence with Harris, who was initially convicted of weaspons charges, by permitting him to stay out of prison while performing 1,000 hours of community service. The service consisted largely of visits with schoolchildren to speak out against violence, gangs and drugs.
“I think Mr. Harris had had about the limit of second chances,” Pannell said. “The worst thing is this case was an experiment.”
You know what would have been better? If he dumped all of these cats and replaced their verses with an Andre 3000 one. Oh well, I guess we just have to deal with the “Deuces” remix filling 3 Stacks’ “one-verse-per-year” quota.
I’m going to agree with Clifford on this one: nothing in life is that awful that your only escape from it is by killing yourself. I’m sure all of us who visit this site have gone through some shit, but at the end of the day it’s really not as bad as we think/thought it was.
Now, if only we can get T.I. to talk Bow Wow on the ledge… kidding. Halfway.
Well I’ll be damned, apparently T.I. assisted the police (too easy) in helping a man off a 22-story ledge in Atlanta earlier today.
It all went down earlier this afternoon — when cops responded to a 911 call about a man who was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta. We’re told T.I. heard about the jumper on the radio — and called Ryan Cameron (whose radio show is in the same building) to see if there was anything he could do to help out with the situation. Ryan Cameron tells us … he told T.I. to roll over to the building, where the rapper met with police and recorded a heartfelt video message which cops then played for the man on the roof. We’re told after the man saw T.I.’s video he agreed to step off the ledge … and met T.I. in the lobby, where the two were able to talk things out.
If there’s any truth in this (I mean… it is TMZ), I definitely have to give it up to him. Respect due for sure. And hey, now he’ll have another card to play in his next court appearance.
One woman who’d never get the deuces: Keri Hilson.
Final/mastered version of Chris Brown’s (2)dope remix. Unfortunately all that’s changed is a better mix and an added verse from Rick Ross. Still waiting on that explicit though.
Two women who’d never get the deuces: Dania Ramirez and Kerry Washington.
