ZZ Ward’s debut album Til the Casket Drops (Oct. 16) is really shaping up to be something special. First with the Kendrick Lamar-assisted Cryin Wolf and now this cut featuring chicagoans The O’My’s and Blended Babies? Yeah… I’m excited.

The O’Mys created something so soulful and pure and Blended Babies flipped it on its head, bringing that true grit and what they do best. This song reminds me of everything I grew up listening to, a grimy beat colliding with some good ol’ dive bar blues. For that reason, it’s one of my favorites! – ZZ Ward
