We spent a day with World famous DJ/producer The Alchemist, who has been part of the Soul Assassins family since the early 90s. From studio to barbershop and everything green and in-between, we roll with Al as he discusses what Soul Assassins means to him and gives a sneak peek of the new Fall 2011 Soul Assassins line. Products will be available in stores and online mid-August 2011.
The captain of this pilot sh*t is still delivering heat with his latest mixtape, entirely produced by Alan The Chemist. Presented by Diamond Supply Co., shout out to Nick Diamond & Brocky! (Immediately skips to track 2) Tracklist and link down bottom. J.E.T.S!UPDATE: New link.
Fridays: when waking up to good music is indicative of the weekend you may have. If waking up to some new Spitta, Gangsta Gibbs and Alan The Chemist is anything, this weekend is going to be interesting. Covert Coup dropping April 20th.
A few nights ago in Los Angeles’ Diamond Supply flagship store, Alan The Chemist decided to hold court and serve up some classics to the crowd. I definitely need this to come to New York sooner than later. Props to the Language Artz’ Future for capturing the moment.
So this is how Curren$y sounds over The Alchemist production? Shit, I’m going to definitely need more of this in my life. Covert Coup, dropping April 20th.

Coming sooner than later. I already know Miss Peas is gassed for this one. MISS PEAS UPDATE: “Say Queensbridge!” (Ron Artest voice) My favorite; the Timb boots and army certified suits rap is coming back like it never left. MISS PEAS UPDATE: Finallly! I’m sooo gasssed up, I’ve waited over 10 years to hear this! This track fcuking goes. Gutter sh.t!
I had no idea Dom Kennedy was dropping a new project, The Original Dom Kennedy tomorrow. But if it’s anything like his past two outings (I’m still bumping From The Westside, With Love) it’ll be just as dope as they were.
