After a long delay the underground crew have finally released their third album, Reseda Beach, executive produced by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

As a big fan of SOB’s previous work, it’s dope to hear that Ryu, Tak, Vin Skully and DJ Cheapshot are back at it. On October 23rd, the West Coast wing of the Demigodz will be releasing their third album, Reseda Beach.

A version that doesn’t feature Michael Bublé vocals will end up on the album.

One more track before I leave it up to Meka to hold down the fort. If you didn’t know, Apathy, Ryu (Styles of Beyond & Fort Minor) and Scoop DeVille have teamed up to form the Get Busy Committee. They’ve leaked one song already (My Little Razorblade) which can be heard on their MySpace page. This new joint… is the group just fuckin’ around with a classic Jodeci joint. Currently they are finishing up their album, Uzi Does It, and you can expect the dopehouse to be dropping a lot more shit from GBC, the Demigodz, etc soon enough.

I’ve been a fan of SOB ever since I got my hands on the re-release of 2000 Fold almost 10 years ago so I’m excited to see a new project from them coming. Reppin the San Fernando Valley, the team of 2 incredibly talented emcees (Ryu & Tak), a producer (Vin Skully) and DJ Cheapshot have been doing their thing for a long time. From their collaborations with the Demigodz crew (Apathy, Celph Titled, etc) to their shine on Mike Shinoda’s Fort Minor project. Their new album, Reseda Beach, will feature production from RZA, Mike Shinoda, Dilla Rick Rock and more.
