KRNDN makes his production debut by helping DJ Khalil produce the latest release from his upcoming solo project, Everything’s Nothing, which is now scheduled for a February 7th release.

As a delightful surprise, Oh No has taken Strong Arm Steady and Statik Selektah’s 2011 release Stereotype and given it a Stones Throw makeover. Cutting the vocal tracks down to 7 and spicing the project up with his unique interludes, Oh No’s Stereo Jr. breathes new life into SAS’ latest offering. If nothing else, hip-hop is about positiveness and good vibes, something that tends to be forgotten in the whirl of images and ego rampant throughout the industry. The guys of Strong Arm Steady, which was established in 2003, have been busy creating an alternative to the gang-centric rhetoric that has dominated West Coast hip-hop for a while. We got the opportunity to sit down with Krondon and Phil the Agony for an easy, yet insightful, conversation about music, how dispensaries are like Starbucks, and Stereotype (their new project with Statik Selektah).
