Now that Extended Play is out in the world, Statik Selektah made his way to Shade45 this morning and chopped it up with Sway in the Morning. In the clip above, he shares his opinion on Drake vs Chris Brown, being disappointed by Kanye’s new album and gives props to Mac Miller and J. Cole for theirs.
After the jump, Sway and Statik “freestyle” and talk DJ’n (including hilarious stories of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton).
Held last night at Manhattan’s SOBs and with the likes of Sean Price, Buckshot, Flatbush ZOMBiES, Black Thought, Bun B, and Joey Bada$$ among others, Statik and a a couple hundred guests packed out the venue for a lively night celebrating the release of his new album. Cop Extended Play now on iTunes. Props to X.
Tonight, Statik celebrates the release of his new album (which promises to sell more than any other project dropping today) at Manhattan’s SOBs, with… well… everybody and their respective mothers in the Tri-State Area. I’ll be on deck as well, spinning a variety of tunes. Even though the event is sold out, you can still cop VIP tickets, which also include backstage access, a signed album/poster and a Duck Down t-shirt. See you all tonight. Extended Play is out now.
The #June18th release party is officially here and Kanye West’s Yeezus, J. We asked y’all who you thought would put out the best album last month and today we’d like to know which ones you will actually be supporting. Hit the jump and let us know!
Statik lets loose a track left on the cutting room floor of Extended Play. It’s June 18th, party people: your respective music player should be thanking you today.
Only the weekend stands in between music fans and #June18 and Statik Selektah decides to offer another reminder that Extended Play is an album you should pick up.
Despite the album already being available for stream, Statik wanted to shed some extra light on the 2dope Smif-N-Wessun and Flatbush ZOMBiES connect he put together on track-ten.
