First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04 but for what ever reasons it wasn’t. At the beginning of the month, GLC shocked us with some still shots from the lost Spaceship video from Kanye West, himself & Consequence. Now he steps up the anticipation by dropping a portion of the video that includes his verse. I’ve included it after the jump since I can’t seem to turn off the auto play. A few years ago when I worked at a commercial production company, I found out that the job had produced this Chris Milk-directed video for the song, which was set to be the final single off The College Dropout (I even had the treatment for the thing, until I threw it out while i was moving). When the label decided to just move on from the album and start promoting Late Registration, this video was set to be on a DVD compilation of Kanye West videos. I don’t know what happened, but essentially the entire thing got shelved and i forgot about the damn thing until GLC sent this over.
