Early this Spring, Scheme and Alex Wiley linked up with Thelonious Martin for a Closed Session at SoundScape. The result? Well as Alex over at RubyHornet says… a straight “up and down hip hop record, the scrunch your face kind.” Closed Sessions v.2 starts July 11th with MTV2 Sucker Free.
A couple of days ago we had a taste of Summer in Chicago which sparked the creative process for this joint. SRNC producer Analyst had released this beat as his 40th beat in his “40 Beats In 40 Days” series and Scheme was quick to get dibs on it. A couple of hours later, The Sun Is Out was written and recorded.
