The second delivery of 2013 for Rocksmith pays homage to the rise of Streetwear and the DGAF attitude that has brought so many counter cultures together. This spring we traveled west to iconic Santa Cruz, California to photograph the collection. The color story is rich in stone washed earth tones mixed with shades of blue, yellow and red – while the theme is simple, “Legalize”. From the cannabis friendly custom camo’s to the Pop Tha Trunk bucket cap to twill short hook ups, the collection screams FUN. Kick back, light up, pour up and play a record from one of the various music icons referenced in our mixtape of graphic tees and tanks. Spring is here!

Rocksmith and Status are crashing into Austin, Texas this week for SXSW 2013 with their official showcase featuring Trae Tha Truth, Fredo Santana, Lil Reese, Mystikal, Sir Michael Rocks, YG, Killa Kyleon, Doughbeezy, Jarren Benton, Nakim, Jigg, Roosh Williams, GO DJ JB, and surprise guests.

Well since then I’ve been working on bringing the 2DBz vision into reality, and after many months of designs, planning, plotting, scrapped prototypes and the like the dopehouse has teamed up with Rocksmith to launch our inaugural capsule collection, DopeHouse. What you are looking at right now is simply a small preview of the official announcement, as well as the official debut of the DopeHouse snapback cap, which will be available in limited quantities on December 18th on Rocksmith NYC. Check back here this Monday (December 10th) for the official announcement.

On May 19th, 2012 Rocksmith traveled to Athens, Ohio to party with the 15,000 plus in attendance at this year’s 9 Fest. Follow us as we catch-up with the founder of 9 Fest, Industry Dom and our Ohio homies; DJ-EV, Ezzy, Freaky Franz, Chip tha Ripper and host Santino Corleon along with the students of Ohio University and the surrounding colleges. The Rocksmith Summer 2012 collection is bright and graphically bold, so what better location for a shoot than sunny Los Angeles? This campaign features California native and Columbia Record’s rising star T. Mills.

Summer is all about the explicit lifestyle, making memories, being carefree and having fun—this is the message in the clothing. That’s the vibe we get from Travis’s music, so it was a natural fit. As the day progressed from Santa Monica to Inglewood, photographer Aris Jerome and stylist Nai Vasha shot quite a few looks. Featured in this capsule is the cotton twill Ninjas baseball jersey, explicit pattern tanktop, camo chino shorts and an assortment of graphic tees and snapbacks.
