Rickie Jacobs eludes to a forgotten past and sheds light on a possible future on the latest leak from his upcoming Beautiful America EP, which is set to drop June 15th.

Venturing in a darker side of his usual styles, Rickie Jacobs calls upon YOG$ to provide a soundscape for him to vibe over.

Star Wars Episode II-III, Anakin Skywalker was at a constant battle with himself before ultimately turning to the dark side. If that could translate to rap, Rickie Jacobs’ “The Devil Wears Prada/God Wears Gucci” would be his episode II. This two sided record finds him struggling with his career (in a story fashion, not necessarily meant to take away as personal in his life) and his surrounding. The force is strong within this one. – Sermon

Rickie Jacobs follows up The American with a fresh new cut straight off the press, produced by The Jake.

Rickie Jacobs links up with Michigan-based producer YOG$ for a new joint (possibly) off their upcoming collaborative project.

Up next on Rickie Jacobs’ loosie releases is a very “deep” record. Ok, it’s not really. But the message stands… don’t judge a chick by her profession.

Based off the concept/title of the Baltimore emcee’s latest project, I’m just about 10 years too late to listen. Sooo… I’m just gonna leave this hear for y’all youngins. Stream/download after the jump.

Off Rickie’s upcoming project, Song’s For High School Kids, which is dropping March 4th.
My favorite song off the project. Who is Aiden? He’s my son and I haven’t got around to make a song for him but I felt like this was the right time, it’s not just a song about Aiden, but it’s a song about my experiences being a father, brother, and a man. I can not wait for you all to get this album, words can not explain how blessed I am to be able to share my music and know that it’s getting the press on your respective platform. I put so much time to make this project perfect in my eyes. So as we wait for the album to drop, please press play and enjoy. Thank you thank you thank you again to all of you for giving me a chance to prove my worth, I do believe as an artist you guys are the reason our lives change, you guys are the reason we get to travel the world so for that I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been awarded through my career. LOVE, peace.
