Get ready for four mixtape posts in a row. Talk about a mass amount of material to check out! This should definitely be one of the first to check out though, as it boasts the highlights from Brown’s career as a producer. Including tracks with Apathy, Reef the Lost Cauze, Eternia, the Demigodz, Louis Logic, Ludacris, Poison Pen, R.A. the Rugged Man and more. The tape also introduces J.J. rocking the mic with exclusives and never before heard snippets from his upcoming album, Connect The Dots.
Last week I posted the official video. Now it’s time to unleash the .mp3 on ya’ll. First single off J.J. Brown’s upcoming debut album, Connect the Dots, dropping November 10th (and features the likes of Gym Class Heroes, Craig G, Louis Logic, Eternia, Homeboy Sandman, Nola Darling, Poison Pen, Block McCloud and more). Also, above is episode 2 of Brown’s new video series in promo of the album.
J.J. Brown enlists Philly’s Reef the Lost Cauze for the first official video off Brown’s upcoming debut album, Connect the Dots. Which drops November 10th; and features the likes of Gym Class Heroes, Craig G, Louis Logic, Eternia, Homeboy Sandman, Nola Darling, Poison Pen, Block McCloud and more. Also, hit the jump for some behind the scenes footage (serving as episode one of J.J. Brown’s new video series).
Reef the Lost Cauze is linking up with Guns-N-Butter (J-Srilla x Stu Bangas x Chop La Rok) for a collaborative project called Fight Music. 11 tracks of raw hip hop featuring Big Noyd, Slaine, Akir, Bloodsport, King Magnetic and K-Beta. Should be incredibly dope, Reef is a monster.
We’ve been dropping jewels off the tape for a few weeks. Now it’s time to unleash the full project. Shouts to OKP on the premiere. This tape is dope, featuring Black Thought, ?uestlove, Reef the Lost Cauze, Wale, Dice Raw, Roscoe P Coldchain and more.
Since Meka just put up the commercial for Soundset ’09; why not follow it up with a recent performance from Atmosphere, Brother Ali & Reef the Lost Cauze? Spitting bars over Atmosphere’s Smary Went Crazy.
Reef the Lost Cauze & Brother Ali link up for a new joint that’s off Reef’s upcoming Big Deal EP (available on iTunes, April 14th). I also included the title track off Reef & King Magnetic’s upcoming collab EP, King & The Cauze (also dropping on iTunes, April 14th). Both are also featured on the brand new King & The Cauze mixtape (which I’ve included after the jump), which features Brother Ali, Edo G, Marco Polo, Snowgoons, Godilla and more.
In June, King Magnetic & Reef the Lost Cauze are teaming up to bring you The King and The Cauze. An album that is sure to grab you by the throat and force you to listen. Before then (April to be exact), they’re blessing us with The King and The Cauze Mixtape with DJ Dre Boogs. Above is a little teaser to get you by. And since I somehow forgot to post it, here’s the two of them going over the Jake One x Brother Ali x Freeway joint. Shouts to ArtOfRhyme for the reminder.
