With The 20/20 Experience hitting shelves this Tuesday (pre-orders available now), Justin Timberlake went on one helluva campaign this past week. Performing and hosting Saturday Night Live, taking over each night on Jimmy Fallon, stopping by BET’s 106 & Park and finally finishing up in Austin for a special performance at MySpace’s Secret SXSW Show. In other news, Questlove left an interesting comment on the OKP message boards about a follow-up to The 20/20 Experience. Simply sharing the following message: “Spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now… 10 songs later = 20 vision).”

Last night, D’Angelo and ?uestlove took the stage at the Brooklyn Bowl and put on a helluva show. In the clip above, they give a 2dope rendition of The S.O.S. Band’s 80′s classic. Now, can we get this new D’Angelo album already!?

Man, mucho love to Questo! It seems really rare to see such an esteemed Hip-Hop artist such as ?uest that is deeply in love with MUSIC -as in any and all genres- and being able to find and pull inspiration from all genres. I was once so deadlocked in only Hip-Hop music, but DJing helped my foray into other genres. That’s one of the beauties of digging in crates: finding those gems, whether it be some ill drum breaks from a heavy metal band or synths from a cheesy-ass 80s soundtrack: there’s inspiration in almost anything you can find. Anyhow, enough rambling. What are some other genres of music you listen to besides Rap? Personally, I’ve been digging some Bollywood Funk and Japanese Funk. Peace to The Bee Shine.

The archives speak for themselves but we’ve been supporting the homie Danny! since the jump. And while there are plenty of folks that still don’t know who he is, times are changing. Back in January, Questlove revealed that he’s Hov’s “fav cat”. And now, during The Champs’ latest podcast, we get some more insight on the situation. Hopefully nothing but positive things happen to dude from here on out. Any past fan already knows there have been some ups and downs with labels and such.
