When this slid through the inbox my initial reaction was this. Something I’ve been asking for for quite awhile now, Playboy Tre done started himself a podcast. Joined by Attic Crew’s Freaky Tee, the Ballin’ on the 30th Floor ‘cast is a “place the underdogs get their shine and all naysayers get shined on.” Touching on a wide scale of subjects from current events, women, sports, gigalo’n, crazy drug fads and music. With music provided by DJ Shawty Slim. Press play, kick back and enjoy the next hour and a half.
On 2/7-2/10, the Altanta production collective, SMKA, blocked out 882 Studios and invited as many ATLiens as they could to hang out, eat, drink, collaborate and make music. With 50 artists coming through, 20 songs were crafted and will be compiled on The Hang Out (dropping in two parts, March 26th and April 30th). For the first release, SMKA’s Kato provides the sounds for Playboy Tre, Marian Mereba and Spree Wilson to do their thing. Take a listen below.
The other night, the big homie Playboy Tre held a release party for his latest mixtape. And for those that couldn’t make it to Apache in Atlanta, the dopehouse has got you covered with an exclusive recap.
Roughly 24 hours before his running mate B.o.B drops his sophomore album, Playboy Tre drops his latest mixtape for the masses. Tracklist and link down bottom.
