When the line up for Murs’ seventh annual Paid Dues festival hit the net Wu-Tang, our best friends, Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, Dipset, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Quik, Psycho Realm and Dilated Peoples were the listed performers. Now, as April 7th gets closer, the rest of the acts have been revealed. Ab-Soul, Brother Ali, CunninLynguists, Crooked I and many more. Just take a look at the flyer up top and grab your tickets now.

Fashawn’s Higher Learning Tour landed in Sacramento and he spoke with The Mash Up about making it as a rapper today, The Ecology, Paid Dues and fatherhood as a rapper.

On April 2nd, Talib Kweli and Mos Def are joining forces again to headline this year’s Paid Dues festival in San Bernardino, CA. And as you can see w/ the flyer, there are plenty other acts performing as well. Slaughterhouse, Black Hippy, Sage Francis, Murs (of course), Bun B, Binary Star, Blu, Chino XL and many others. Should be another dope event.

IcewaterTV liberated some video footage of Shallah and company performing while out at Paid Dues this past weekend. Performances include Criminology, House of Flying Daggers and more, including a brief cameo / shoutout by Supernatural. I think it’s safe to say they need a camera upgrade over there.

Although the lineup originally showed Random Axe performing, P! was the only one present at Paid Dues 2010. My disappointment quickly vanished once Ruck got into his zone.

Live at Paid Dues in San Bernardino last night. I actually split halfway through Cube’s set (*shrugs… there was no way I was sitting in traffic for over an hour after the show was over). Before he performed the new single (I Rep the West) off his upcoming album, I Am the West.

Guerilla Union’s founder, Chang Weisberg, talks about this year’s Paid Dues lineup and upcoming festival. I’ve got to say, I wish they would stick to one stage. Having two doesn’t work IMO as it puts a strain on certain fans where they might want to see both at the same time. I actually hated it at RTB the past few years and don’t see me enjoying it in 2010. Either way, I’ll be in Cali for this no matter what!
