For the third video from J NiCS and Numonics’ Champion Rizla, J NiCS and Reks attack the reality of political and socioeconomic bondage. Champion Rizla is now available on iTunes.
After several projects in 2010, Miami’s J NiCS and Ft Lauderdale’s Numonics come together for a collaborative EP entitled Champion Rizla. Presented by 2DopeBoyz, Last Rights & DJ Booth, the EP showcases J. NiCS’ smooth baritone flow over the soul inspired production courtesy of Numonics.
With guest appearances from the likes of Reks, Phresh James & Wrekonize (who also mastered the project alongside Mayday member Plex Luthor), Champion Rizla is a truly diverse project that sheds light on the emerging artist that is J. NiCS.
I’ve been asked a lot in the past few months to put together another instrumental mixtape. With my project with J NiCS, Champion Rizla, dropping tomorrow I put together a mix of unreleased beats and those that are featured on the project. – Numonics
The visuals dropped last week (you can see it again if you missed it), but now here is the audio for those to add to their iPods. The Polar Bear and Numonics’ Champion Rizla drops February 1st, right here at the dopehouse.
Here are the first set of visuals off the Polar Bear Mack’s collaboration with producer Numonics, Champion Rizla, set to drop February 1st andis presented by the dopehouse, Last Rights, and DJBooth.
J NiCS and Numonics are linking up for a collaborative EP, Champion Rizla, similar to the (2)dope Co$$ x Numonics Revelations project. Champion Rizla, with features from Reks, Co$$, Wrekonize and more, is presented by the dopehouse, Last Rights, and DJBooth and will drop February 1st.
For the first video off of Revelations, the Mupalia Pictures-directed visuals tie into the song’s concept of time running out. Utilizing this concept, Co$$ and Sene play the roles of smoked-out Funeral Home workers frantically trying to deliver a body on time.
I remember when, while we were in Miami, when they were trying to shoot this video high out of their motherfucking minds. Good times.
Laws drops a freestyle over the intro of a Numonics beat for “The Rising” music series in Miami. Laws will be performing live this Thursday, November 18th, alongside Emilio Rojas and more at Transit Lounge in Miami.
As most of y’all know, the dopeboyz invaded Miami this past weekend. Having our hand in two (quite successful) events at the Transit Lounge. Up first was the release party for Co$$ and Numonics’ Revelations project, in which Sene and Blu joined in on the festivities. Two days later, Tanya Morgan teamed up with ArtOfficial to do nothing but rock the house. I had never witnessed AO’s live set so I put the camera down during their showcase. The rest of the weekend is documented after the jump though.
