Three/21 recently shot at SOB’s New York City for the “We Don’t Believe You” music video – Joell Ortiz feat. Joe Budden and Novel. The title pretty much says it all as we focus on a fictional rap group who aren’t exactly who they say they are. And when Joell, Joe and Novel decided to pull their card, all hell breaks loose. Definitely a fun video and track look for this along with Joell’s “Night Train” video (directed by Derek Pike) to drop soon!
A behind-the-scenes look at Joell Ortiz upcoming video, for a track off Free Agent that will feature Novel & Joe Budden. Shouts to Rik Cordero and the Three/21 Media team on the direction.
This past weekend I was out in Brooklyn with Joell Ortiz and Novel shooting the video for their new record “Night Train”. Everything went smoothly despite the fact that we shot during a monsoon. But I guess you can say we are like the postal service, rain or shine we still deliver! Look out for the full video dropping very soon. – Derek Pike
With February 14th just 2 1/2 days away, Novel drops off a little something for the lovers out there. Shouts to OS.

You already know what it is. Here goes the brand new mixtape from Joell Ortiz & Novel. Featuring Spree Wilson, Jadakiss, Saigon, Papoose, Slaughterhouse and more.
The lone Slaughterhouse General that was lucky enough to dodge Bendino’s lyrical onslaught (clearly I’m joking) is back with another joint off his and Novel’s upcoming mixtape, Defying the Predictable.
It’s definitely nothing to jot down in permanent ink, but how dope would a full project from Jean Grae and Joell Ortiz be!? Hopefully something comes to light from this. And speaking of Novel, hit the jump for a new joint…
This past weekend, Three/21 and Lush Life shot the video for “Call Me”, Joell Ortiz’s latest single featuring Novel. The song and concept is about teenage love and heartbreak based in Williamsburg and South Side Brooklyn circa 1995. Now for all of you 90’s babies, this video will pretty much feel like a period piece since the height of Brooklyn in ’95 featured Smart Beepers, Eastland’s, Tommy shirts, Carhart jackets, Helly Hanson jackets, 5411’s, stretch pants, hoop earrings, scrunchies, etc. Shout out to Mike Heron and Dennis Wynn for putting this one together as well the homies Joell Ortiz and Novel. Yaooowa!
