The next time I go to Nip’s shop, I’m not bringing anybody that’s wearing red. Can’t do it. I’m too old to be getting jumped like a trucker on Florence and Normandie on April 29th, 1992.

So last weekend in Los Angeles, my friend and I decided to take a trip to Neighborhood Nip’s shop on Crenshaw and Slauson to grab a couple signature tees and crewnecks… while wearing my favorite color (red) in my sneakers (or, in my friend’s case, red sneakers). Yeah, I’m never doing that again. Anyways, Get Noticed Media was on set of Nip’s latest set of visuals, where if you notice you’ll see some of those shirts we copped.

Hitting 109k followers on Twitter, Nipsey lets loose another one.

The New Jersey native teams up with Neighborhood Nip and the DMV native for this latest offering from his upcoming project, The Slave Shift: Waking Down, set to drop January 18th.

Interesting story (to me, at least): yesterday afternoon I finally made my way to Nipsey’s shop on Crenshaw and Slauson to grab some of the “Crenshaw” paraphernalia he sells, which has been on my bucket list since I got back to Los Angeles. As I bring what I wanted to purchase to the cashier, who’s ringing me up? Nipsey himself, alongside some of his family members.

Anyways, this cut (spotted at Ashley’s) is slated to be off June’s Hookman For Hire project coming out on January 28th.

Neighborhood Nip’s latest mixtape hits the cyber-streets, and it’s just in time as I’m planning on copping one of his infamous “Crenshaw” hoodies today. Tracklist and link down bottom.

“LA is MY Playground” is a short film about the subculture of burgeoning LA Hip-Hop acts starring Nipsey Hu$$le, DOM Kennedy & Pac Div (with a special guest appearance by David Banner). The film captures a once in a lifetime experience of these artists on their rise to stardom. Each artist has a song in the film that directly relates to LA; Showtime-DOM Kennedy, The Mayor-Pac Div, Hometown-Nipsey Hu$$le, demonstrating different places in their career.

CinematicTV was on hand for Neighborhood Nip’s video shoot. South Central State Of Mind is set to drop December 21st.
