“We spoke many a time, and he was like, ‘I don’t see myself growing old.’ Pac couldn’t sit down for five minutes. He was always going, ‘Yeah, everything good, good, good.’ When you listen to him and you see his demeanor, he was more or less, like, on watch. He had a deadline. He was working at a pace, like, ‘Where you going? You going on vacation? You going to jail? You doing sh– like you tryna finish everything right now and cover stuff.’ You couldn’t find him half the time; he was gone. He had a plan.” – Treach
Treach also says that Biggie and Pac would have reconciled. Hit the jump for the story.
Here are the visuals to Naughty By Nature’s new single from their upcoming album Anthem Inc, directed by The Wonder TwinZ & Jessica Ardito.
On the latest track from Neako he pays homage to three fellow Jersey artists (Redman x Naughty By Nature x Joe Budden) in a Jackin’ 4 Beats style rhyme. Look for his upcoming project, The Rubix Cube: Blue Edition, dropping 11/1.
New music by Naughty! Why they’re not on anybody’s “top” list is beyond my guess, or at least Treach. But after bumping this track, I could see why…
Raekwon, Showbiz & AG, Nice N Smooth, Naughty By Nature, MC Lyte, Lord Finesse, KRS-One and Das EFX performed at the Hip Hop Legends concert at New York’s BB King’s. Props to Phalary for the footage. Check out the rest under the cut.
Hallway sent this nice ditty over…

Naughty by Nature are the next guests on RockMeTV. In part 1 above, they speak about being The New Style before taking the name Naughty By Nature; and their strategy of success. Part 2 (after the jump) has Treach & Vin Rock talking about touring back in the day and what their life on the road is like now. They also speak on the history of O.P.P. and their relationship with Tupac. Part 3 (also after the jump) the roundtable talks with Treach about his [II] worthy scene in Love and a Bullet; and the difference between groupie love back in the day and how it’s like now.
Even though they’re usually not brought up in G.G.O.A.T. conversations, Naughty By Nature is perhaps the most unheralded group ever, finding a way to mix in a hardcore sound that everybody could dance to without it coming off soft as shit and leaving a plethora of classic cuts in their wake. But this autobiographical cut with Treach on the horn is not only my favorite Naughty cut, but perhaps the crew’s shining moment as well. Too bad Juelz Lupe’d this shit up on that Hip Hop Honors show.
Naughty By Nature stops by Kay Slay’s radio show to talk on a few things. Mainly on Juelz Santana pulling a Fiascogate during the VH1 Hip Hop Honors. It would’ve been ill to see Eminem pull some Treach rhymes.
Vinnie called up the homie JMack for a quick interview, where he talked about Juelz Santana pulling a Lupe during their tribute at Hip-Hop Honors (I’m surprised at how nobody blew it out their asses the way they did Fiascogate… but then again it was a Dip Set member), being a hype man and the whole deal with Naughty’s happy ass music.

In light of their recent VH1 Hip Hop Honors nomination; Treach, Vinnie & Kay Gee drop a new record. Be on the lookout for their upcoming album. Also, check the new interview with them over at the plantation.
