In similar fashion as Mobb Deep, Naughty By Nature’s “break-up” was first acknowledged when Treach hit Twitter with some harsh words about his partner Vin Rock. And while I had hoped it was just some “misunderstanding” type thing, Treach follows it up with an actual diss track. Sigh… hopefully this ends the same was as Mobb Deep and these two settle their differences and get back at it.
Shouts to NahRight on the heads up.
In this interview with Montreality, Treach (of Naughty By Nature) freestyles & speaks about his working experiences with Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Eazy-E & Big Pun, being praised by Eminem & wanting to make a classic collaboration with him, his upcoming movies, messages to the youth & more.

It’s been two decades since the group formerly known as The New Style dropped their classic party anthem, and to celebrate the trio of Treach, Kay Gee and Vin Rock are embarking on a tour called – you guessed it! – the Hip Hop Hooray Tour, culminating with a headlining performance at this year’s 6th Annual Roots Festival. Now, they’ve teamed with DJ Scene and have taken that single and given it an “upgrade” of sorts.
Treach, Vinnie and Joe hit my hometown for their idea of a perfect party.
There are many things you may or may not know about your favorite members of Naughty By Nature. Today we feel bold enough to share with you some things you may not know about Trigger Treach. He will probably kill us for this later, so please enjoy it now.
WARNING: CALLING TREACH “TINY T” MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH. (DON’T BE STUPID… DON’T PLAY YOURSELF.)
Up top NBN and Red hit Paris, while after the jump Catfish Billy invades London.
The fact you can play the latter two songs at a party today and it still will still have the crowd moving = why Naughty By Nature are legends to me. That, and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” (Ghetto Bastard)” is one of my favorite songs ever. Anyways, the trio stopped by David Letterman’s show and performed a medley of old an new cuts. David’s boy Paul going off on those keys during “Hip Hop Hooray” is priceless. Naughty’s upcoming album, Anthems Inc, will drop soon.
