The song stars Tage Future, who takes a solo opportunity over a whipping, winding beat from RJD2, using the track to show off a series of complex flows and slick lines. The video, directed by Dan Gotti and premiered today by Potholes In My Blog, is a well-done series of fast-edit performance clips, each cut keeping up with the frantic pace of RJ’s instrumental and Tage’s verses.
Moving images for the RJD2 produced banger, off MHz Legacy’s self titled album. Peace to PotHolesInMyBlog on the premiere.

Back in December, the DopeHouse teamed up with MHz Legacy and Man Bites Dog Records for a 2dope remix contest for their Blu-assisted “Yellow + Blue” single. Over the two weeks in which the contest ran, we received over 200 submissions from all over the world.
“I really appreciated the number of submissions we received for the contest — there were hundreds we had to listen to!” notes Tage Future, who, with the rest of the group, judged each individual entry. “The winning submissions needed to be dope, and they needed to move me. There was a lot of strong competition in the mix, and we had fun going through the selection process.”
“I didn’t want any of the remixes to have the same vibe as the original,” notes Copywrite. “To me, a great remix creates a completely different vibe from its original but still fits 100%. ‘Yellow + Blue’ is my favorite song on the MHz Legacy album, and we appreciate everybody who took the time out to remix our song.”
After the jump I’ve included the remixes from the Grand Prize winner (Psymun) as well as the two runner-ups (Melvin Junko, Sentury Status).
Copywrite and Tage rock over some RJD2 production for the latest visual from MHz Legacy’s self-titled debut. Also, for all the up-and-coming producers out there… be sure to check out the remix contest we’re throwing for the Blu-assisted “Yellow + Blue”.

This Halloween, MHz Legacy (Copywrite, Camu Tao, Tage Future, Jakki Da Motamouth and RJD2) released their long-awaited debut album, the self-titled MHz Legacy. One successful month later, the DopeHouse is teaming up with the crew to give aspiring producers the opportunity to remix one of the album’s biggest singles, the Blu-assisted “Yellow + Blue.” After downloading the a capella (available here), contestants will have two weeks to craft their best beat and submit their remixed version (.mp3, 128kbps or better) of the single to MHzLegacyRemix@gmail.com.
All submissions will be judged by MHz Legacy and their label, Man Bites Dog Records with one grand prize winner and two runners-up. Take a look at the prize list (via FLuD Watches, Akomplice Clothing, Native Instruments, etc) after the jump.

To celebrate the release of MHz Legacy, the Ohio collective drops “Yellow + Blue” for the fans (or those still needing an extra push to support). Kick starting the Surock-produced cut, Blu comes out swinging with Copywrite and Tage Future cleaning up.
