SHAKE EDIT: Unlike my apathetic partner, I dig the Public Enemy choice (10x better than that cracktastic choice of Lean Back*). And Mic actually comes off better than his last effort. I look forward to Mazzi’s response. I do agree with the phone call intro. That was on some classic Linda Tripp shit. Don’t know about that? I might have to upload the battle.

A week or so back I dropped Mic Terror’s diss to Mazzi which was a response to his experiment track “dissing” Jay Electronica and The Cool Kids. Mazzi has now dropped a response to Mic Terror. LOL @ the phone conversation. eskay called it, somebody lost.

Chicago’s Mic Terror releases a video to his diss track towards S.O.U.L. Purpose’s Mazzi in response to his experiment that “dissed” The Cool Kids and Jay Electronica. What are ya’ll thoughts on this whole mess? And what the hell is going on with the Hornets!?!

Despite Mazzi saying that the Jay Electronica & The Cool Kids diss record and video were an experiment, Chicago’s own Mic Terror still took offense. I understand why, some of the stuff was still aimed at clothing, fashion, etc. Mic Terror can spit, believe me, but this seems too a bit off. Not sure about the Lean Back beat choice either. I’ve been checking his stuff though ever since Andrew posted some awhile back. Which is where I snagged this as well. An accompanying video will be dropped today.

Mazzi of the S.O.U.L. Purpose Crew speaks on the recent “diss” record towards Jay Electronica & The Cool Kids. It was an experiment aka there was no beef, etc. I feel stooped haha. But big ups to Mazzi for conducting this. I’m glad to see there wasn’t anything real. That would explain the there isn’t any reason for him to diss, diss haha. Good work Mazzi, I tip my keyboard off to you. He even grabs Q-Tip to discuss his thoughts on the hipster rap scene and more. I fully agree with the statement that a lot of people out there gravitate towards beef in hip hop rather than just having great music. You know Shake covers everything. If anyone sends good music, I’ll post it. At the end of the video they list a dope line up of artists under the radar, do yourself a favor and google them!
