Now this is pretty dope (shouts to Court Dunn on the directing tip). Emilio Rojas (along with Dwayne Collins & Claude Z) performs a record (not featured on his upcoming mixtape, The Natural) live at Stadiumred. M-Phazes on the boards. Shouts to J Master.
Jadakiss joins J the S for his new M-Phazes produced single (also featuring Danny McLain) off his upcoming album, The Last Days.AnotherNewMusicCartel world premiere, so pay attention.
For this week’s installment of Foundation Fridays, Coalmine Records reached out to Monstar Films to create a visual backdrop to the M-Phazes remix of Midnight Madness. Which served as a parody of the 1980 cult movie that bears the same title. The remix is featured on the Midnight Madness Remix EP which is available now on iTunes. PS… I’m back.
M-Phazes remixes the first single off Shuko’s The Foundation (which is available now) for The Midnight Madness Remix EP (which is also available now). Shouts to my dude Matt D. PHX cops are dicks right? Haha…
Hassaan Mackey, Black Sinatra, LI & Nikal Fieldz join Emilio on his M-Phazes produced remix of 585. Video, shot by Court Dunn, coming soon as well as a new mixtape with DJ Noodles entitled Recession Proof.
Since I’m flying back to Vegas from Toronto tonight I figure it’s only right to drop some music from both before hand. First off is an apology. Story goes like this… last week I put up a joint from Promise that wasn’t supposed to be leaked for a few reasons. Being the real cup that I am, I can admit when I’m at fault. There was some confusion within the email and I didn’t get that it was for my ears only. My apologies to Promise and the producer at hand. Promise felt the need to apologize as well but he’s an emcee… so his comes in the form of a song. So M-Phazes… blame it on me.
Promise also speaks on hisLetter to Drake and wants to make sure people realize it’s not a vendetta for hate and that it’s love. New mixtape dropping Valentine’s Day right here on 2DopeBoyz. Come on Prom, you already know dude. T-Dot!
Featuring Sha Stimuli, Skyzoo, Torae, Mickey Factz, Emilio Rojas and more. Production from M-Phazes, Cookin’ Soul, Cyrus The Great, K-Salaam, etc. And now a brief message letter from A. Pinks…
Dear Fans,
For those of you are who are new to the A. Pinks Experience, Welcome! To those who have been along for the ride all the while, Welcome Back!. You are in store for a special 2009 beginning with Will Rap 4 Food. The theme of the project is exemplified accurately through the title. I’m hungry, and that’s precisely what I’d like you to take away from this tape. If you were expecting puppy dogs and white lilies…think again! This is no frills, full metal jacket, reckless abandon. Just so were clear..I’m Goin’ In!!!
My computer is acting like a complete piece of shit right now so after this I’m giving it some time to cool off. Before that, I wanna drop a joint from the homie Promise. For a place as cold as Toronto, it sure does produce a lot of heat.
So it’s official. Both dopeboyz are residing on the east coast for a few weeks! Here’s some footage of Australia’s super-producer & winner of Sha Money’s One-Stop Producer’s Conference doing what he does while out in NYC. Remixing a beat around a hook that was originally intended for Pharoahe Monch.
Buff1 is setting out to do several shows out in Australia over the next 9 days and wants to document the travels. You’ll be able to keep up with him as he will be doing short video blogs. Check the first one. And since the dopeboyz are in Australia (for this post atleast) here goes M-Phazes remix of Buff1′s For You, which was originally featured on his debut album, Pure. If you aren’t up on either of these dudes, you need to step your wiki game up and get get get it.
I hinted to this project last week and now it’s here. The hour long mixtape features the likes of Slug, Dilated Peoples, U-N-I, Royce Da 5’9″, Skyzoo, Stimuli, THe KnuX, Pharoahe Monch, etc and production from Jake One, 9th Wonder, Alchemist, Black Milk and more. From my brief overview of the tracklist there’s nothing really exclusive but it’s a dope collection of new music from artists that are in Shake’s favorites list.
CL Smooth & Skyzoo perform their M-Phazes produced joint Perfect Timing live at Public Assembly. Shouts to Mick Boogie on the tables. Check for the upcoming compilation from Coalmine Records, entitled Unearthed, which features music from the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Dilated Peoples, Royce Da 5’9″, Sean Price, Large Pro, Emilio Rojas, Torae, Kool G Rap, Apathy and much more! Also, hit the jump for the artwork to the upcoming CMJ Mixtape, featuring the same cast and mixed by DJ Dutchmaster & M-Phazes…
