Decatur Dan just informed me that Nike decided to use The Cool Kids’ A Little Bit Cooler (off the Bake Sale EP) in one of their internet shorts. I’m not sure if this one is airing on television (I haven’t seen it yet) but it’s dope nonetheless. I’ve really enjoyed the commercials I’ve seen (LeBron… have you seen my three NBA Championship rings?). Anyways… can you imagine the amount of money and marketing Nike, Vitamin Water, etc will be pushing if LeBron & Kobe square off in the Finals? How ridiculous would that be? Last night I talking with Black ELement (the Lakers biggestfan) and he mentioned they could even swing LeBron vs Melo. Which is true, anything but Magic vs Nuggets haha.
Just so no one gets it twisted: the Lakers are winning the NBA Finals. Now that KG is out, the C’s aren’t gonna go anywhere, which is a shame. You always like to have the defending champs in there to fight like hell to hold on to their crown. Doc Rivers doesn’t want to believe it. And as competitive as KG is, I can’t imagine even being around him right now — how frustrated he must be because all he wants to do is get out on that court. He’s probably breaking stuff in his house, he’s so mad.

Damn. That is NBA Playoff basketball. Such a great game and a great finish. It’s good to see KG and Jesus move on. Pierce was an absolute BEAST today. 41pts, 4rbs, 5ast and much more. Congrats to the Bean. My hopes for a Celtics/Lakers championship is still in effect.
Well I went 50% on my picks during both Game 5′s. So I gotta step my game up this time around haha. The absence of Gibson is gonna hurt the Cavs. Bron is gonna have one less person to pass out to for a perimeter shot. And I’m still waiting for Jesus Shuttlesworth to step up. What the fuck happened with him? 34% is not gonna cut it. I still think the road drama is gonna continue and Clev. will come out with a W. Sorry Boston, you gotta win outside your homecourt be considered a contender. Speaking of winning on the road. Farmar and the supporting cast gotta step it up if they wanna take Utah out tonight. If they brush up on their mishaps from last game I think they can wrap it up. Gonna be tough regardless. What are your thoughts ya’ll?
The time has arrived. Two pivotal Game 5′s tonight. Cavs/Celts and Jazz/Lakers. What are you guys thinking about the outcomes? I honestly think the Cavs can take this. If they take their finish and last two games in Cleveland with them. Bron should have a great game I’m thinking. And we all know what I think of the Lakers game haha.
We’re just over an hour until three crucial game 6′s start. Who do people have? I’ve got Houston taking another road win in Utah to force game 7. LeBron and the Cavs will finish off the Wiz kids. Same with Boston. Hawks had their 2 win run. No more.
As I take this Sunday to recoup from last night’s events, amongst other catch up ordeals I get this in my inbox. Shouts to eskizzle for the drop. If you aren’t aware, there has been this huge clusterfuck about DeShawn Stevenson, LeBron James, Jay-Z and Souljah Boy which all started over a comment Bron said regarding Stevenson. DeShawn called LeBron overrated, etc. So what happens next? Hova drops a diss record over Too $hort’s Blow the Whistle.
