I’ve been fans of the L.A.U.S.D. team since they dropped Curly Tops & Nautica Jackets back in March. Now L.IV is dropping his solo debut IVComing (Forthcoming) soon, and here’s the latest leak from it.

Pac Div, Dom Kennedy, TiRon and hosts L.A.U.S.D. took a trip from L.A. to San Diego, stopping by The Attic for a Meet-N-Greet with fans and then shut down Club Decco with live performances. The homie Spintellect got this footage of all these dope acts doing their respective things live in San Diego (I refuse to call it “Daygo,” as that city is quite possibly the least hood spot in America).

Los Angeles Unified Sound District’s L4ZY LOU on the Beat! and Polyester the Saint talk about how their mixtape featuring some of L.A.’s hottest artists and how they came together to create it.

A few days ago I was invited to listen to Curly Tops & Nautica Jackets, the new compilation album from productions duo LAUSD, scheduled to drop Tuesday, March 24th. After listening to a few tracks, I wanted to find out more about the album as well as the people behind it, Polyester and L4. Like a dumbass, however, I forgot to bring my camera to record the whole thing, but fortunately Drew had his. Good looks!

We’ve been posting tracks off the upcoming project from the L.A. based production duo L.A.U.S.D. for quite sometime. I got a sampler of the project in the inbox earlier today but since I’ve been bogged down with work since the early AM I hadn’t got a chance to check it until now. Go figure, there’s a joint with Blu & Jack Davey on there! The rest have already been posted here already, but I included the link anyways incase you guys missed some. If you’ve kept your eyes to the internets you should already know this track is gonna have an insanely flirtatious vibe. If not, I’ll let the homie Kenny Fresh explain…

Now I don’t know the full story between how this track came together – but I do know that after Blu spit the lines “Pipe dreams, I reach for daily/Stoned daisy, and daydream about bonin’ J*DaVeY” on the track “Say Say” (which you can only hear here), Ms. Davey re-posted the XXL video of the verse on her blog with the title, “I HEART u 2 blu.” And they definitely play into that sentiment on the track, so that might have something to do with it… or maybe I just spend way too much time on blogs. Probably the latter.
