The audio is kinda warbled, but it’s actually nice to see Lauryn exude the same energy she had when she was on top of the music world such a long time ago. Props to YaYa for the footage.

It’s always nice to get some new music from Lauryn, even if it’s just something that may have been previously unreleased. Can’t wait to see her at Rock The Bells, too.

Garish outfit aside, it seems that Lauryn has finally got her head on her shoulders once more. Applaud that woman. Anyways, she raps “Lost Ones” over Timbaland’s “Say Something” beat.
Ms. Hill was live and direct warming up for her Rock The Bells shows in Santa Rosa, CA, at the Harmony Festival. An alternative version of “Doo Wop (That Thing)” up top, “Turn Your Light Down Low” down bottom.

Now I plan on going to this shit in New York…
Now — Rock the Bells has OFFICIALLY announced that ATCQ will be performing their classic album Midnight Marauders, along with Snoop Dogg performing Doggystyle and DJ Premier with a special tribute to Gangstarr. As for Ms. Hill? She’ll be performing “a unique set prepared exclusively for Rock the Bells, featuring songs from her critically acclaimed album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill spanning through her work with The Fugees and more.” – URB
Jesus fucking Christ, this is gonna be the concert of the year. Check the full flyer down bottom.

While the official press conference is tonight in Hollywood, CA, apparently URB let a few secrets out of the bag as both Ms. Hill and ATCQ are set to perform full-length albums as the co-headliners of this year’s Rock The Bells. Yeah, I’m going this year. SHAKE UPDATE: Umm… maybe not.

For the latest leak off his 2010 mixtape, Stat Quo rocks over the unreleased Lauryn Hill record we posted back in September of 2008.
