Anytime these two link up, I know I can expect nothing but gold. Those two have great chemistry. I finally saw ʻMegaʻs Who Am I DVD last night, which is about four hours long. Itʻs crazy to hear some of Sunʻs stories, and I have that much more respect for ʻMega now. There was a clip on that DVD that showed a crowd of police in riot gear that showed up in Brooklyn one night while ʻMega and his boys were celebrating the life of and mourning for one of their close friends who was shot dead by the police. I was thinking to myself what would have really went down if that camera man was not there to document what was happening. SMH.
A while ago Torae dropped a video featuring him and the legendary producer working on a track together. Now here is the end result of that product, which serves as the first single for LL Cool ‘Rae’s new album For The Record dropping November 1st.
So lately Torae and I have been having a friendly Jordans competition… or, it’s friendly until Tor decides to go all Incredible Hulk on me one day for killing him in the competition. Anyways, he and Large Pro (NICE!) were in the studio working on a track called “Do The Math” off his upcoming album (set for a November release) and Jerry Barrow was on hand to catch it.
