Week 3 of Brain Candy is a little late due to Fargo like weather conditions in the NY area, but no ice or snow will stop the Kidz and their Brain Candy for the fans. In this clip, Naledge talks about what he believes it is to be a “Star” and brings Tabi Bonney & One Chance along for the ride on the aptly titled track, “Star.” Since today is Friday, you’ll have to wait until Monday to get the full version of the song. Enjoy.
The clip below is exclusive footage of Spitta telling Naledge along w/ Smoke Dza and Stalley, a tour story as they all hung out before a show last year in Chicago, the night Naledge and Curren$y recorded Pledge Allegiance.
Add Naledge and Double O to the growing list of “artists dropping weekly projects,” launching their “Brain Candy” series.
In association with their Brainiac Society movement, Kidz In The Hall will be releasing a new song for the next few weeks accompanied by an associated visual. Whether it’s a behind the scenes of the making of the beat (as this week’s installment is), a full music video, or a look into the recording process of Naledge, I will be getting you a video piece, followed by the full version of the song the following day.
“Player of the century?” That’s some lofty aspirations. Dru Down better make a bigger proclamation, because being mack of the year isn’t cutting it anymore.
Belvedere follows Kidz In The Hall around the day before and day of their performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago this past August, which includes rehearsal with band, Adidas sneaker release performance at Chicago hot spot LEADERS and culminating with their performance at Lollapalooza.
Ah, the summer. How is it that once Labor Day passed New York is back to being 50 degrees. Good grief.
Leak numero dos off the debut album, Hello World, from the Sons of ‘84 (great year). Which also features Skyzoo and Lil Wayne and production from M-Phazes, Eric G and more.
Just hours after the release of Naledge Is… Twenty Something and we’ve already got a tagless joint from the Kidz in the Hall spitter and Gangsta Gibbs. Shouts to BraniacSociety.
For his upcoming mixtape Twenty Something, Naledge is linking up with illRoots to present it. For the first leak from it, he links up with his Kidz In The Hall partner.
While out in Chicago last weekend for their first Lollapalooza performance, Kidz In The Hall and MTV went on a tour of the Adidas Mega Pop Up shop on the festival grounds. The group also performed a private event for Adidas at one of Chicago’s premier retail spaces, LEADERS, as well as a post Lolla performance at Angels & Kings.
