Three years ago, we posted a sometimes over-looked Jaz-O song featuring a young Jayzee, circa 1991, a couple years after Hawaiian Sophie was released. Today, we’re hooking it up with two more joints from Jaz-O’s 1991 EP, Ya Don’t Stop, both featuring Large Professor production.
Title track off DJ Absurd’s upcoming EP, dropping June 28th. And will feature the likes of Termanology, Pacewon, Tride Da God, Big Lou, Blaq Poet, Craig G, Ransom and more.
This joint can be found on The Jaz’s 1991 EP,Ya Don’t Stop and is much better than Hawaiian Sophie. The earliest recording of a young Jay predates this and Hawaiian Sophie; High Potent’s HP Gets Busy, circa 1986, but that shit is basura.
I’m not gonna say anything because 1) it’s the last day to support our disheveled, mangled veterans (no shots) and 2) I still dig Jaz-O’s verse on “Bring It On.” Props to Charley Brown.
I figure this would be the best way to catch up. Considering I was MIA most of yesterday and Meka will be MIA most of today. Just wait til we’re on opposite coasts. We’ll be killing it! Check it… above is some footage of Curtis on the Turkish version of Deal or No Deal. Fully equipped with gang signs and chest pounds. Classic! Hit the jump for some other shit from the likes of J-Zone, John Brown, N.O.R.E., Plies, Jaz-O, Planet Asia, Drake and more…
