After taking to Instagram to post a photo of Hov & Rae together a few days ago, A&R legend Lenny S posted yet another photo, this time of Hov & Drake with the following message.
Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we’re working on. OVO x ROCNATION
Something for Drake’s upcoming Nothing Was Same LP? Or perhaps it’s for Hov’s next solo outing? Let us hear your thoughts.

Raekwon took to Instagram earlier today to reveal that he and Jay-Z are finally getting in the studio to put in work. With Rae finishing up his F.I.L.A. album and Hov reportedly working on his next solo LP, it’s up in the air as to where the actual music will end of living. But one can hope that the final product results into some of that classic drug/crime talk. Shouts to Lenny S for making it happen.

Black Entertainment Television have just announced the nominations for this year’s BET Awards ’13 and Drake leads the pack with 12 nominations. The BET Awards 2013 takes place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on June 30. Hit the jump for the complete list of nominees.

Okay, so it’s obviously not Hov, but I thought the Dopehouse would get a little kick out of this one, considering the resemblance is uncanny. The image (below) was culled from the New York Public Library and captured by “street photographer Sid Grossman”. Hilarious. See the original, unaltered image after the jump. Peace to Ego Trip and the NY Times.

As promised, The-Dream calls upon Jay-Z for the latest single off his upcoming album, IV Play, due out May 28.

Jay-Z’s website, Life+Times, just threw up a 1:35 clip that showcases some of the exclusive content they’ve been providing since it’s launch. A few months before the new year, I (alongside my good friends Andreas Hale and Tnel Moniq) were brought on as one of their West Coast production teams. Over the course of the past six months or so, we’ve shot boxers (Manny Pacquiao, Adrien Broner, Robert Guerrero, Zab Judah), UFC fighters (Phil Davis), NBA Players (Paul George, Luol Deng), rappers (Kendrick Lamar, RZA, Stalley) and more. Definitely looking forward to the future.

We got a snippet earlier, now we’re hit with Jay-Z’s full offering off The Great Gatsby soundtrack, in stores May 7, courtesy of NPR.
Mr. Carter sat down with BlackTreeTV to talk about the inspiration for getting involved with the 2013 romantic drama film, The Great Gatsby and why executive producing major films is the next stage in his business development.
