I’ve been dropping J.A.M.E.S. Watts‘ Two Minute WarmUps for the past few weeks/months and the response has been positive. After he dropped the 6th installment Watts decided to drop a mixtape that compiled of all 6 as well as a few bonus tracks. Throw in an intro and outro, some mixing and you got yourself The 12 Minute Mixtape. The only gripe I have with this is that I didn’t handle the artwork haha!

J.A.M.E.S. Watts is already back with part 6 of his Two Minute WarmUp series. Dude is on his grind! This marks the last installment (for now). Watts will be releasing a mini-mixtape with all 6 parts, new artwork and such. Look for that next week sometime. These little freestyles have been great for me to get back in the rhythm of recording and releasing music consistently, but I’m ready to get back to doing full songs. – J.A.M.E.S. Watts. And that is exactly what he’s doing. I should be dropping his next full real song as a nice little exclusive. We’ll see. Right now though, enjoy Watts ripping over some Dilla.
I’ve been including J.A.M.E.S. Watts Two Minute Warm-Up series in random posts, never giving them their own. Until now, he’s deserved it haha. This time Watts jumps on Three 6 Mafia’s Stay Fly. This ones definitely experimental compared to the previous Warm-Ups but it’s worth the listen.
