Over a year after it’s release, Jabee drops some visuals to my personal favorite cut form his 2dope catalogue. And after revisiting the song through the video above, my initial thoughts (written below) still stand.
This shit here? This shit right here!? Yeah, I’m diggin’ the hell out of it (and not just because of the name drop haha). Check as Jabee speaks his mind on how everyone and their mother’s need/desire to be a rapper or a writer… instead of just being a fan of this hip hop shit. Sidenote… how ill would Anthony Hamilton sound on the hook!?
We’ve been hearing about Jabee and El-P’s upcoming 7″ vinyl set for quite sometime. Now we finally get a taste of the A-side single which features the talented Carlitta Durand.

Fresh off a couple spot dates on the Into the Wild Tour with El-P, Killer Mike and them, Jabee drops off a loosie. Look out for two more joints from Jabee and Thelonius in July and August that will help complete an EP they are compiling.
Each month, Jabee and Thelonius will be dropping off a song, which will result in a new EP dropping in August. Outside of that, Jabee is also prepping his new full length Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt and a special 7″ vinyl collab with El-P.

Following the chemistry of the duo’s “All Aboard” release, the midwest’s premiere hiphop artist joins forces with North Carolina’s finest to create a joint EP that will shock both regions and will fill the void as fans wait for Jabee’s upcoming project and J.Capri’s BORNSTARS. And to add to 9th Wonder’s self proclaimed “Carolina Hip Hop Day”, Capri will be releasing his project on September 27th along with 9th Wonder, J.Cole, and Phonte dropping the same day. Be on the lookout for J.Capri (with Jabee) on the Southeast stops of Rock the Bells Tour with Mobb Deep, Raekwon, and Ghostface (Charlotte, NC- Sept.17).
