After linking up with DJ Skee to release Careless Redux (which boasts features from Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosius, Rapper Big Pooh, THURZ, DJ Khalil, !llmind and more), the Seattle musician takes some time out to share his inspirations and vision behind the project. UPDATE: Looking back, I noticed I actually missed posting the project as I was on tour. So if you haven’t already, hit the jump to stream and/or download.

Produced by The Flush, here goes the third single off the Stankonia Sessions: A3C Edition 2012 compilation.

Shortly after dropping “Lenore” w/ Musiq Soulchild, the Seattle emcee drops off the next single off his upcoming Careless Redux project, dropping November 13th.

With Kuddie Fresh providing the soundscape and Musiq Soulchild on the chorus, the Seattle emcee shares his take on Edgar Allen Poe’s classic poem The Raven. A dark look at the universal torment and mournful sorrow felt for a greatest love lost. Careless Redux — Pinder’s upcoming project presented by DJ Skee — is looking at a November 13th release date.
J. Pinder gets super personal on the latest visual from his full-length debut, Careless.

The producer-on-the-mic is gearing up to drop a new EP, FOCAL POINT: 1172, on August 7th. Here’s the latest offering from that project.

Quite possibly my favorite joint from Pinder to date.
They used to be called haters. The people who push their own sense of self loathing and misery on you, telling you that what you pursue is not attainable, that you will amount to nothing. They can be peers, enemies, friends, family even the media. J. Pinder and Bay Area MC Mistah F.A.B. tackle them head on in Pinder’s newest cut “Dream Killers” and dodge every countermove of those shifty killers with ease.

A behind-the-scenes look at J. Pinder’s next video; which will drop (with the .mp3) next Tuesday.
In “Go Far” J Pinder again teams up with director Jon Augustavo to tie a visually arresting style to the ultra smooth track. The story of love and loss, on the trains and streets of New York, simultaneously juxtaposes and compliments the deep lyrical material of the new Pinder single. Artful and stylistically original – the video conveys a strong image of the road that J. Pinder is moving along as an artist.
