One more post. UGHH got some high quality video of Deck on stage at Rock the Bells. This clip also features The Chef addressing the issue stating that anyone that challenges the Wu might as well jump off a roof. Also, Van Stylez sits down with Rae to talk about his roll role in the situation.
During Rock the Bells: DC I started getting text messages about Joey & Raekwon getting in a fight. To dead that, theydidn’t. Anyways… apparently, before Deck got off stage (during Raekwon’s set) he screamed out fuck Joe Budden. Which in turn, seemed to push Joey to suit up for war. The clip above is a recording of one of his live streams where he talks about the situation and speaks a little bit about the diss record he has/had planned.
Joey calls up Jessie Maguire to talk about Deck’s recent diss record. He mentions that he reached out to Method Man to speak one on one and has already had a long convo with Raekwon & Busta Rhymes about the situation. He also speaks on The Escape Route (which is apparently dropping this month), The Great Escape & Mood Muzik 4.
The logical Joe Budden says to ignore it, it’s not worth the time. And it’s really not. He ain’t got it anymore. And I say that with the utmost respect for him and everything that he’s done. I understand all that he’s contributed to hip hop. He’s part of one of the best groups ever made. In my humble opinion. In Slaughterhouse’s opinion. I think somewhere in between this whole VIBE and JoeBuddenTV, people (and even couple of the Wu-Tang members) took it as Joe Budden doesn’t have respect for his elders, or love for the people that helped pave the way, and that’s totally not the case. But Deck ain’t got it no more. I don’t know. I’ve gotta see what happens when I get in the booth.
And if you’re interested in the dead prez interview she spoke about at the end, it’s included after the jump…
Just off the email there’s appearances by Boot Camp Click, KRS One, MC Lyte, Das Efx, Nice N Smooth, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon and Inspectah Deck. And I know I’m not the only one who loses it whenever the opening beat of “Who Got The Props?” comes on either.
Brand new record off the upcoming Wu-Tang: Chamber Music album, dropping June 30th. The album will be pairing Wu-Tang members with classic 90′s-era New York emcees w/ music performed by Brooklyn-based soul band The Revelations. Shouts to Chris Herche!
As much as I’d like Rihanna on top (see what I did right there?), the show must go on. Above is the latest installment of Foundation Fridays.
Check out footage from The Foundation Album Release Showcase presented by the Lyricist Lounge & Coalmine Records. Here are some of the evening’s highlights featuring Craig G, Big Noyd, Torae, R.A. The Rugged Man & Heltah Skeltah. Watch Sean Price get heated at the soundman and threaten to walk off stage at least 3 times. Oh… and is that a Necro dis in Craig G’s verse…hmmm?!?! Stay tuned for Part 5 of Foundation Fridays droppin next week as UGHH.com sits down with Craig G for an introspective look into the uncooked beef between the former Juice Crew legend and Necro. Be sure to cop The Foundation at UGHH.com.
Also, hit the jump for a new video featuring Sean Price & Inspectah Deck…
Also featuring Suga Bang. I premiered this (as well as the bonus) over at theplantation earlier today and felt it needed to get a little burn before I dropped it over here. Anyways… both cuts are off the upcoming soundtrack, RZA Presents Afro Samurai: Resurrection, which drops January 27th. Hit the jump for the full artwork and tracklist…
First single off the upcoming Bobby Digital project, Digi Snax, which will be dropping in the Summer. Shouts to Alex for the track, he always comes through with the Wu. And since it’s “Biggie Day” I threw in a little bonus for ya’ll.
This song has been a favorite ever since I got my hands on the American Gangster OST. Adding Ghost to the mix just makes things better. Shouts to Alex for this for sure. That man has the Wu-Tang related shit on LOCK!
