Originally recorded to close out Illogic’s latest release (Diabolical Fun), but was left off due to it being a little too dark for the overall feel of the album. In preparation for the upcoming Greenhouse release (Electric Purgatory pt.1) on November 24th, Blueprint & Illogic participated in a question and answer session where questions were submitted by their fans, and titled it Greenhouse 101. We think it will explain a lot of the history and future of the Greenhouse crew.

This is easily one of my most anticipated projects in the months to come. Print & Illogic are fucking dope.

Dropping the Effect from the name, Blueprint & Illogic are working on some new material and will be releasing an EP called Electric Purgatory on November 24th (via Weightless Recordings). The first in a two part series that will be available for free download. A CD version (accompanied with instrumentals and a poster) will then be made available for purchase at weightless.net. And as an added bonus, I’ve included a joint off their Columbus Or Bust album. Dedicated to all you c-section hard heads.

A few weeks back Illogic and Ill Poetic performed a few cuts at their Diabolical Fun release party in Columbus, OH. Above Illogic performs 1,000 Whispers. I posted a clip of Aesop recording his verse the other day, imeem launched a stream, and now I have a download for ya’ll. Diabolical Fun (the album) available now! It’s really dope to hear Illogic, Slug & Aesop on a record together again. Now all we need is Blueprint & Eyedea to jump on and my WishfulIndieFanBoy side would be complete. You hear that!? We need and Orphanage reunion!!

Before I head out for a needed break, here’s some footage of Aesop Rock in the studio recording his verse for Illogic’s upcoming Diabolocal Fun (rmx). I’m unaware of the full lineup, but my man Ill Poetic let me know that I specifically will NOT be disappointed. So hopefully he’s right. Aesop was a great start haha.

I was lucky enough to get Illogic’s upcoming album, Diabolical Fun, a few weeks early; and honestly it’s been getting serious burn on the Zune. I got the go ahead to let loose of this joint right here though. March 24 is the release date, be sure to cop it!

This year we will get the first album in three years from Columbus, Ohio’s Illogic. I’m not sure of an exact release date but I’m pretty sure it’s a 1st quarter release. March 24th is the day. I just got two tracks off the album; including the title track, Diabolical Fun. Both are produced by Ill Poetic (Outkast vs NIN, Joe Budden vs Portishead) and both knock severely.

As I’m sitting in this recliner weaving in and out of consciencness while waiting for my lady friend to call I figured I’d post this new joint from Illogic. I’ve been a fan for quite sometime (Celestial Clockwork still gets rotations). It’s great to see dude finally back in action. 2009 marks the year he will be dropping his first album in three years, entitled Diabolical Fun. Before then, we get a free EP on November 25th.
