Ice Cube and Mike Posner sat down with BallerStatus to wax poetics from Dr. Dre and Eminem to Duke University. Check out Mike’s interview down bottom.

While out in San Bernardino for Paid Dues, Cube sits own with HardKnockTV to talk about his upcoming album, I Am the West. He also breaks down a few songs (Man vs. Machine, Drink the Kool-Aid) and addresses how L.A. has changed since he put out Wicked in 1991.

Some behind-the-scenes footage of Cube’s video for the single he performed at Paid Dues. Off his upcoming album, I Am The West, which is scheduled to drop on June 13th.

Live at Paid Dues in San Bernardino last night. I actually split halfway through Cube’s set (*shrugs… there was no way I was sitting in traffic for over an hour after the show was over). Before he performed the new single (I Rep the West) off his upcoming album, I Am the West.

Last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Jeezy brought out Ice Cube to perform his 1993 smash Check Yo Self. Shouts to Rap-Up. Speaking of the BP3… I’ll be live and present at tonight’s show in Vegas. All black everything.

With the help of WC and DJ Crazy Toones, Cube performs a joint off his 2006 release (Laugh Now, Cry Later). Also, hit the jump as Crazy Toones is joined by Kurupt for 2 Turntables And A Microphone.

With Hov & Jeezy opening up the show with a performance of As Real As It Gets the BET Awards were taped last night in Atlanta. The show isn’t airing until October 27th but the winners were announced, etc.

Jay later took home the MVP of the Year award, beating out such popular peers as Lil Wayne and Drake. Hov dedicated his win to Mr. Magic, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. “Brooklyn, we did it again,” he said at the conclusion of his brief speech.

Other big winners announced during the show last night were Drake for Rookie of the Year and DJ AM for DJ of the Year.

Ice Cube was honored with the I Am Hip-Hop award, with an introductory video that included a voice-over from Dr. Dre. “From that first rhyme he spit for me, I knew Cube was a star,” Dre said. The award was presented to the former N.W.A member by Young Jeezy and Cube’s favorite MC, Chuck D.

For a more in depth breakdown of the show, hit up MTV. And to be honest, I don’t care who won what. All I wanna see/hear are the Cyphers that went down. DJ Premier on the 1s and 2s with KRS-One & Wale rocking the first cypher; Joe Budden & Nicki Minaj rocking the 2nd; and the most anticipated w/ Eminem, Black Thought & Mos Def.

Despite the L they took last night, Cube drops a new anthem for the silver and black (and will be working on a documentary with ESPN). And for those that are wondering… Jenn (above) used to be a Raiderette (and the only reason I would tune into Real World Denver haha). Fuck it though… let’s go Niners!
