A couple weeks back, the big homie House Shoes started a new series titled The Gift. Each installment will consist of a compilation of music spotlighting a producer or artist that you may not be aware of in hopes of giving them a chance to gain a bigger audience. The first volume featured the Michigan to Florida transplant, Nameless. And today, the light is shed upon SoCal producer DertBeats. I’ve included both installments after the jump… so click play, vibe out and possibly get hip to something dope.
On March 9th, House Shoes got a lightbulb. And when House Shoes gets a lightbulb, it’s usually pretty flawless. So with a bunch of Biggie acapellas in his possession, the Detroit DJ/producer reached out to a couple of his friends (Nottz, Waajeed, 14KT, Quelle Chris, Khrysis, Nameless, etc) and had them do what they do best. Stream/download the end result after the jump.
