I am not a Photographer Nor a Videographer. I respect their art enough to not dabble. But when i was ask to attend the Random Axe video shoot I grabbed my Cannon T2i and shot what I could. I am Truly a huge fan of all three individual work, so you could only imagine what the album sounds like. Plus, being around Sean is Priceless no pun intended. – DJ Prince

You’ve heard “The Hex.” Now get a feel for what’s in store for the debut collaborative project between Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Sean Price, courtesy of Complex. A choice quote:

“Understand This:” The drums on this go hard. In fact, they sound like they were played by Daru Jones—the same drummer who played the live drums on Black’s Album of The Year. As far as the rhymes, Guilty Simpson might be from Detriot but he’s got the spirit of a true New York sports fan: “I used to keep grams on me/Cause I had better nicks than Mike D’Antoni.” LOL!

Dinner At The Thompson’s (I’ve heard crazier names) is a French-American duo composed of singer Lucille Tee and producer Fablive, whose next outing Off The Grid drops May 17th. This dope number has them linking up with a third of Random Axe for this track which was “inspired by a desire to bring an afro-beat influence into a rap beat.” I like this.

Who was expecting this to drop today? Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Sean Price form like Voltron and drop their debut single – a dedication to their manager/legendary shit-starter Hex Murda – off their upcoming self-titled long-player, dropping June 14th.

Ah shit… Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Sean Price are gearing up to release their highly anticipated project this Spring (June 14th to be exact) via Duck Down Records. Starting off with a word scramble, that’s described below.

Staying within the theme of the project, the group has devised a word scramble consisting of 20 key words associated with the project. Hints on the key words include the obvious…group name, individual artists, down to the more specific details…hometowns, previous solo artist albums & even the first 5 out of 15 track names on Random Axe’s album. More importantly, the official street date is somewhere within the board of letters.

Fans can email contests@duckdown.com with their discoveries on the 20 words. The first person to get it correct will receive a custom prize package from Duck Down Music consisting of a fitted new era cap, signed albums of his/her choice & free entry to a future Random Axe show in his/her town.
