At only 19 years old, GrandeMarshall is one of Philidelphia’s youngest and brightest hopes for the next rapper to break nationally after Meek Mill. Most refreshing is how different the two sound when compared, Mill, continually rapping like he’s trying to get someone’s attention at the opposite end of a nightclub and Marshall, closer to a baseball coach explaining to a student why they didn’t make the varsity team. Watch GrandeMarshall perform “PMS,” one of the harder hitting songs from his Mugga Man mixtape for his Rubber Tracks performance.
Each time I listen to a new GrandeMarshall tune, I dig the guy’s music more and more. Fortunately, the Fools Gold spitter dropped his new mixtape today, for everybody to enjoy. Tracklist, stream and link down bottom.
The Philly-reared Fools Gold spitter is currently working on his FG debut, Mugga Man, and if it sounds anything like this chances are it’ll be a dope listen.
While I was down in Atlanta this weekend for A3C (blink and you missed me) I was introduced to Philly-reared artist Grande Marshall via this song, “Robert Earl.” He recently dropped a solo project, 800, a few weeks ago and I think it’s definitely something the dopeheads will enjoy. You can check it out down bottom.
