Two things are great right now. I’m about to eat my second meal of the day before 1:30pm (something I haven’t done in years) and now Phonte hit me off with the sampler to his and Nicolay’s upcoming Foreign Exchange album. Leave It All Behind is one of my most anticipated albums of the year easy. So download, stay tuned, and be sure to cop on October 14th (or Oct. 7th online).

DJ Hyphen had the chance to catch up with Phonte while out at Rock the Bells in Washington (the one I got shafted from haha). The Little Brother/Foreign Exchange emcee goes in about the upcoming FE project (Leave It All Behind), how his music has grown and evolved over the years, the incredibly dope Gordon Gartrell Radio podcast series, the potential sequel to Zo! & Tigallo Love the 80′s!. They go in about what’s next for Little Brother and if Tay-Pain will take over the hook game next year.

You already know that the dope boyz are loyal supporters of Foreign Exchange, and now their first single has finally dropped. After what went down with the 88-Keys post I did a while ago, I won’t yoke the song from their site and slap it up here, but you can hit the link below to cop the song off their site. Phonte was nice enough to let it go. Chea!
