For those that aren’t fans of Mac Miller or just enjoy a dope instrumental to vibe with, FlyLo has taken to his Soundcloud to provide the official instrumental he crafted for the Pittsburgh native’s latest release.

First single — which stands for Somebody Do Somethin’ — off Mac Miller’s upcoming Watching Movies With The Sound Off album. The single will be available for purchase on iTunes later tonight with the music video arriving on Wednesday.

On July 9th, bassist Stephen Bruner (better known as Thundercat) will be dropping a new album — executive produced by Flying Lotus — called Apocalypse. Take a listen to the first single below, both co-wrote and co-produced by Flying lotus and Mono/Poly.

FlyLo recently lent his chops to the end credits of one of Cartoon Network’s flagship series, Adventure Time, and earlier today released the full version of the track.

Our new mini-documentary peeks behind the scenes of Flying Lotus’s new live audiovisual extravaganza, ‘Layer 3′ – which the Academy was proud to assist with developing in support of the Until The Quiet Comes tour. Made with the help of visual artists Strangeloop and Timeboy, the trio have devised a method of transporting FlyLo into outer dimensions using two transparent scrims and interactive front and rear projectors, conjuring nothing short of the acid-fried Space Odyssey “Stargate” scene.
