Joined by Blu, Evidence and CurT@!n$; Fashawn will be at the Colonial Theater (Sacramento, CA) this Sunday (March 6th). If you’re in the area and would like to attend, hit the c-section with your correct email (in the field) and I’ll pick two winners at random. Good luck.
John Zee was on hand at Fash and Ev’s Higher Learning tour stop in Rain City and took a couple videos of the thing. I hope you spent more time enjoying the show than taping it, John. Anyways, check out more footage down bottom.
Al and Oh’s Gutter Water is availablenow, but this track was left on that project’s cutting room floor. Also, hit the jump to check out the dates for their upcoming Odditorium European Tour.
Ev and Murs rock over the remix to Laws’ Hold You Down (in which Emilio Rojas put to rest)… because they can. Obviously not featured on Ev’s upcoming Rhymesayers release, Cats & Dogs (which I need in my life sooner than later!).
A few nights ago Black Milk celebrated the release of Album of the Year at The Roy w/ the help of a few West Coast acts. Hit the jump for some (2)dope shots.
For those that checked out the preview of the 7L & Esoteric’s upcoming album will instantly recognize the “crazy fucking organ” haha. Now we get the full joint featuring the Step Brothers. 1212 drops October 12th, be sure to cop it!
In a long and enthralling Channel Zero session we confront Evidence (of Dilated Peoples) with music videos, movies and TV news casts he either starred in, was influenced by or that got him interested. For the first time he is speaking on the true identity of “L.A.’s most prolific tagger” Buket, about “Marihuana in the room” with “step brother” Alchemist, about Snoop Dogg, Fashawn and about coming from Venice Beach and seeing Detroit.
Available on iTunes. Also, Ev and Rhymesayers are giving folks that purchase the single an opportunity to remix the track. Grab the a cappella and do what you (may or may not) do best. Shoot your 320kbs entries to contest@rhymesayers.com by September 7th. The winner will be picked by Ev himself and the track will be featured on Rhymesayers.com. They’ll also receive a prize pack from Diamond Supply Co. And now… a word from Ev himself.
What a great way to return! Hard rhymes (Me), hard cuts (DJ Revolution), hard beat (Sid Roams), a powerful image to back up my excitement (Jason Goldwatch) and a new label (Rhymesayers Entertainment)! This is the 1st banger to surface from “Cats & Dogs” which was leaked by DJ Premier a couple months ago. Ever since the leak the album version has been in high demand and here it finally is along side one of my favorite videos I have ever done. The video symbolizes turbulent times and personally this last year has been full of “ups and downs” but made me realize even more how important this music is to my life and how important sharing it with my people is. Can’t wait to see you on the road, until then this is, “To Be Continued…”
